No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why…..Carmen M. Marino, 48, of Warren Center, Pa passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his home from a sudden heart attack. Carmen was born on December 31, 1968 in Towanda, Pa a son of the late Joseph and Ida (Pardoe) Marino. He was a 1987 graduate of the Towanda High School and continued his education at Mansfield University where he received his Bachelors and Masters certificates in Teaching. Devoted to teaching, Carmen taught in the Binghamton School District, Broome-Tioga BOCES and was currently Principal at Susquehanna Valley School District. Carmen enjoyed sharing his love for the great outdoors with his boys ~ together they enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carmen was a devoted member of the Community Independent Bible Church in Little Meadows where he oversaw the Firewood Ministry and taught Vacation Bible School. In addition, he also actively coached his sons in Northeast Bradford Youth Wrestling, NEBall and Apalachin Youth Football and served as a Boy Scout Leader with Grant and Nicholas for many years. He will be forever remembered and forever missed. Those left to cherish his memory are ~ his wife Anita; sons: Grant, Nicholas and Noah; special nephews: Chris and Jim Fries and families; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special family friends The Eiffert’s and the Browning’s. Carmen was welcomed into heaven by his parents, grandfather Grant Pardoe and his sister Barbara Fries. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, September 2nd from 10 – 12 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and celebration of Carmen’s life will follow at 12 pm with his pastor and friend, Pastor David Nelson, officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford County Memorial Park.
