Eddie A. Timchack

March 22, 1989 - April 17, 2018

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever….Our hearts were broken on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 with the sudden and unexpected passing of our loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin Edward A. Timchack. Eddie, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was born on March 22, 1989 in Towanda, Pa a son of Gary and Tammy (Vandervort) Timchack. He was a 2007 graduate of Tioga Central High School where he participated in the band. Eddie was a long time Boy Scout of Pack 36. Following high school Eddie continued his education at Broome Community College and Oswego State. A caring and loving individual, Eddie could be found assisting his family at their restaurant “The Barstow House” He also was formerly employed at the Olive Garden in Vestal, Best Buy and Matsco Corp. A talented musician, Eddie played the saxophone, piano and the guitar. He enjoyed listening to jazz music, fishing at the family pond, snowboarding and watching his deer cam videos. Eddie will be greatly missed by his parents Gary and Tammy Timchack; his sister Stephanie Timchack; paternal grandparents Josephine and Stephen Timchack, Jr., his niece and nephew: XioMara and Zander; aunts and uncles: Tom and Stephanie Vandervort, Todd and Tobi Vandervort, Tedd and Deb Vandervort, Stephen III and Christine Timchack, Karen and Matt Kocienski; his cousins: Julia Kocienski, Michael Kocienski, Madison Timchack, Taylor Timchack, Lyndsy Vandervort, Tessa Vandervort, Mia Vandervort, Jerry Holstein, Wendi Vandervort, Nathaniel Vandervort, Jason Vandervort, Kyle Vandervort, Ryan Vandervort and Alexander Vandervort. He was welcomed into heaven by his maternal grandparents Mary and Clarence “Ed” Vandervort. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm with Pastor Larry Jennings, officiating.
