Alan Duane Jones

Alan Duane Jones, 60, of Warren Center, Pa, passed away on April 19, 2025. Born in Sayre, Pa, Alan's life was one of dedicated service and joyful engagement with the world around him.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly D. Jones, his sons, Steven and Brian Jones, his brothers and sister-in-law, Doug and Dianne Jones, Lauren Jones, and his great aunt, Nancy Nickels, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alan was predeceased by his parents, H. Duane and Jeanette M. (Nickels) Jones, and his sister, Luanne Scott.

Alan was a proud graduate of Northeast Bradford High School. Following graduation his commitment to service was evident through his enlistment in the US Navy, where he served from 1984 to 1988, a period that shaped much of his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and honor.

For over thirty years, Alan held many positions with Jeld-Wen Manufacturing. Beyond his professional and military achievements, Alan's passions were rooted in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and contentment in hunting and fishing. His presence was a staple at family gatherings, where his stories and laughter were as abundant as the food on the table. Alan's visits to his brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Dianne, were cherished times, often highlighted by the warm hospitality and the delicious meals he enjoyed so much.

Alan's love for his sister Luanne's and niece Tiffany's cooking was well-known, and their dishes will forever be associated with the warmth and love of family he so valued. His presence at these family events was a testament to the deep bonds he shared with his loved ones.
