Albert E. Cross, Sr.

Albert E. Cross, Sr., 84, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 following a period of declining health. He is survived by his wife Doris (Ford) Cross; children: Albert Jr., (Joanne) Cross; Allyson (Joseph) Purdy; Earl (Josefa) Cross; Terry Cross; step-children: David (Caroline) Stewart, Kathleen Stewart, Robert Stewart, Diane (Richard) Valle; a brother Don (Lucy) Cross; his grandchildren: Kelly, Sarah, Daniel, Keith, Michael, Jason, Jessica, Connie, Terry, Angel, step grandchildren: Melissa, Benjamin, Keri, Justin, Ashley, Tyler, Chelyn, Adam and Curtis. His niece Monica; nephews David, Daniel and Michael. Albert was born on January 26, 1926 in Endicott a son of the late John and Alda (Segur) Cross. He was a veteran of the US Navy and proudly served his country during WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post 1371, Owego; enjoyed fishing, hunting and photography. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Abiding with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
