Alfred E. Deemer

Alfred E. Deemer, 68, of Ulster, Pa passed away September 11, 2008. He is survived by his wife Lydia Deemer; four children: Eunice M. wife of Keith Lehman, Mercersburg, Pa; John M. and his wife Lisa of Morris, Pa; Isaac L. "Ike" and his wife Sue of Ulster, Pa; Aaron M. and his wife Rachel of Towanda, Pa. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, a sister Diana Fenger of Williamsburg, Va; brother Leonard H. Deemer of Aurora, CO. Alfred was a member of the Union Valley Mennonite Church. Funeral services for Alfred will be held on Monday, September 15th at 10:30 am at the Union Valley Mennonite Church, Rome, Pa. Interment will be in the Darling Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Sunday, September 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols.
