Alfreda M Arnold

When someone becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure…. Alfreda M. Arnold, 86, of Ulster, PA (Rome Township) passed away on Thursday, October 4th, 2018. Alfreda was born on August 7th, 1932 in Windham Township, one of five children to the late John and Vera (Waterman) Snyder. On July 15th, 1950 she married Robert W. Arnold and they shared sixty-seven years together until his passing on November 23rd, 2017. She and Bob enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and being with family. Alfreda will be greatly missed by her children: Christine (Michael) Gowin, Gary (Linda) Arnold and Connie (John) Morgenstern all of Athens, PA. Her twin sister Arlene Barnhart; her grandchildren: Linda (Ron) Smith, Jennifer (Rick) Chilson, Jason (Alicia) Arnold; her great grandchildren: Ryan Smith, Nicole Chilson, Matthew Chilson, Hannah Arnold, Malacci Ham, Tucker Ham and Zacceri Warner; special friends Adeline and Larry; many nieces & nephews and their families. Alfreda was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Arnold, her parents and her siblings, Paul, Walter and Donald. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Monday, October 8th from 10-11 at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main Street, Nichols, NY. Internment and prayers of committal will follow after at the Bumpville Cemetery.
