Anna May Davenport-Stead

The spirit of Anna May Davenport-Stead, 77, of Nichols, NY (formerly of Elmira, NY) slipped peacefully and painlessly to her eternity on the morning of Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Elderwood Care of Tioga, Waverly, NY. Anna is survived by son Daniel J. (Marsha) McDermott of Vestal, NY, daughters Catherine M. (Kenneth) Rogers of Barton, NY and Connie Lee (Chris) Henry of Nichols, NY, her grandchildren Crystal and Shannon McDermott, Russell D. Towner, Paula Bogart-Fellhauer, Jacqueline Bogart, Steven Sturdevant, and Mark H. Legge, nine great grandchildren, three nephews, and many loving friends at Elderwood, who will never be forgotten for their tender care of our loved one. Anna will be guided into her heavens by the angels and welcomed by her predeceased loving family, to include her parents Charles and Hazel (Crowley) Davenport, brothers Dickie and Charles Davenport, and faithful dog, Cami. Friends will be received by the family at calling hours on Friday, February 15th from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols.
