Arthur Kendall

Kendall, Arthur, 77, of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Elcor Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He is predeceased by his mother Sue Kendall. Art is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sondra (Schrock) Kendall; daughters, Kelly (Donald) Lawrence of Katy, TX; Lee Saginario of Elmira; and son, Arthur (Margaret) Kendall Jr. of Dobbs Ferry, NY. He is also survived by his 101 year old father, Addison (Amy Blake) Kendall of Elmira; grandchildren, Christopher and Anna Saginario of Corning and Hudson Kendall of Dobbs Ferry, NY; sisters, Carol (Gary) Erickson of Horseheads and Sue (David) Eichenhauer of Elmira; nephews, Kary and Mark Erickson; special sister-in law, Pam (Tom) Wheeler of Elmira. Art was a 1955 graduate of Thomas Edison in Elmira Heights. He graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. Art had a long career in marketing and advertising with several local companies. He started his career at Channel 18 News. He also worked at the Star Gazette, Howell and Kendall Advertising in Elmira and Dura-Bilt in Wellsburg. There will be no calling hours or service per Art's request. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Elcor, Colonial Ridge for the excellent care he received.
