B. Marie Baldwin

A mother holds her child's hand for a little while…..and their hearts forever ~ Our loving mom, B. Marie Baldwin, 69, formerly of Nichols went to her heavenly home and to be reunited with her husband William Baldwin on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Marie was born on April 11, 1942 in Sayre, PA a daughter of George and Elsie Felton. A loving, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, Marie treasured each moment spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law: Laura and Kenn Briggs of Nichols; Carol and Keith Hopkins of Elon, NC; Teri and David Shumway of Orange, VA; Valarie and Daniel Walker of Haywood, VA; Pam and John Coffman of Brandy Station, VA; her sister and brother-in-law: Rita and Kirk Ellis of Nichols; her grandchildren: Stephanie, Heather, Michael, Amanda, David, Tori, Haley and Ian; several great grandchildren and a niece Lisa (Michael) Mozgawa of Suwanee, Ga. Marie was predeceased by her husband William Baldwin in 2008; grandsons Cody and Stephen. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, April 6th from 11- 12 noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Funeral services and a celebration Marie's life will follow with Pastor Curtis Coffman, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will be in the Nichols Cemetery.
