If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever… Barbara Jean (Howe) Rogers, 75, of Nichols, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA following a period of declining health. Barb was born on October 20, 1943 in Binghamton, NY a daughter of the late Lincoln and Roberta (Whitman) Howe. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother Barb treasured her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband Richard B. Rogers; her daughters and son-in-law: Geraldine and Lloyd Forsythe; Lisa and Richard Relyea; and her son Richard Rogers, Jr. Her special grandchildren: Theodore and Nicole Harding, Elisha and Rowmain Tunnicliff, Michael and Dustie Shipman, Benjamin and Angela (Garhart) Shipman; her great grandchildren: Theodore A. Harding, Mariah J. Harding, Rowmain Tunnicliff, Vanessa A. Tunnicliff; Lillian M. Shipman, Joseph M. Shipman, Tiabias Shipman, Vivian Shipman, Valerie Shipman, Jasmin Shipman, Alana Shipman. Her siblings: a sister Betty (Robert) McGrew; Lincoln (Shirely) Howe; Karen Howe; Ronnie Howe; brother-in-law: Herbert Paz. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Lincoln and Roberta (Whitman) Howe; a sister Shirley Paz; a son Timothy Rogers; a granddaughter Joleen Harding. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Monday, July 29th from 10 to 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and a celebration of Barb's life will follow at 11 am at the funeral chapel.
