Betty Bird Shoemaker

Betty Bird Shoemaker, 89, passed away on August 27, 2012. Betty was born on October 15, 1923 a daughter of the late Harry Field and Lois Delphine (Glover) Bird. She was predeceased by her husband William Henry Shoemaker and is survived by her brother Robert Field Bird of Stanton, Ca; nieces Julia Bird Joubert and Eileen Bird and their families. A memorial service and celebration of her life was held on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 3 pm at the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Ringgold, VA. The Reverend Ben Forrest, officiated. A monument tribute has been placed on her mother's grave in the Nichols Cemetery, Nichols, NY. The Cooley Family of the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S.
