Betty Jane Monet

Betty Jane Monet, 76, of the Nichols School House Apartments and formerly of Union Bridge, Maryland passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. Betty was born on September 13, 1932 in Frederick Co., Maryland a daughter of the late Kenneth Sylvester and Margaret Louise (Koontz) West and was raised by the late Bessie Ebert. Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, attending activities with her friends from the school house apartments. Betty is survived by her children: Kenneth S. and his wife Georgia Krug; Patricia A. and husband Henry Boone; David N. Monet Jr. and his wife Shelly; Allen and his wife Vickie Monet, Eddie W. Monet. Her grandchildren: Marsha, Jason, Allen Jr., Connor, step grandchildren Kelly, Kelsey, Chris. She was predeceased by her husband David N. Monet, Sr., on May 2, 1983. Funeral services for Betty will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2009 at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
