Betty L. (Goble) Haner After a loving and fulfilling life, Betty L. Haner, of Nichols, NY, passed away on April 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with diabetes. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, William; her children, Ann and Stephen Supa, Cindy and Steve Tennant, Debbie Haner and Craig Race, Michelle Haner and Jason French, and Michael Haner and Hugh Horton; her grandchildren, Courtney and Nathan Harrington, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, and Ethan Supa; her brother, Robert Goble; special niece, Virginia and Albert Nichols; several brother and sister-in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Jean Snyder. Betty enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching and flowers. The family will receive family and friends at Sutfin Funeral Chapel, Nichols, from 1- 3pm on Saturday May 5th. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Salvation Army, and Owego Fire and Emergency Squad.
