Beverly J. Bogert

Beverly J. Bogert, 85, of Bardwell Rd., Nichols passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011. Beverly was born on October 19, 1926 in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Holcomb) Bonney. She attended school in Endicott and was a graduate of Owego Free Academy in 1944. Beverly was a member of the Nichols United Methodist Church. Beverly is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Marlene Bonney, Gary and Roxanne Bogert, Robert and Mertie Sturdevant; her daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Chalker, Dorothy and Leon Macumber; Connie Moshier; Terri and Joe Baldwin; Linda and Albert Howe; sister-in-law: Fermina Bonney; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Donald Bogert on December 7, 2000; brothers William and George; sons William, Michael and Louis. A period of visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20th from 10 to 11 am at the Nichols United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 am with Pastor Daniel Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Nichols Cemetery. Those who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to the Nichols United Methodist Church in loving memory of Beverly J. Bogert.
