Carol N. Wells, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully at her home in Windham, Pa on Monday, October 14, 2024. Born on August 30, 1942, in Binghamton, NY, Carol's life was a tapestry of love, care, and quiet strength that touched everyone she knew.
Carol's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a beloved mother to her daughters and sons-in-law, Gail (Earl "Bo") Miller, Teresa Welles, and Maria (William "Eddie") Holstein. Carol's love extended to her sister, Bonnie Hill, and blossomed further to enfold her adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her nieces and nephews also held a special place in her heart, all of whom survive her and will cherish her memory. Carol's interests were as rich and varied as the life she led. She treasured her family above all else. Carol found solace and expression in painting on canvas, capturing scenes and emotions with every stroke of her brush. She was also an avid reader, delving into books that transported her to different worlds and ignited her imagination. Fishing was another passion, one that allowed her to revel in the tranquility of nature. Carol's love for word searches reflected her sharp mind and her enjoyment of simple pleasures.
Carol's legacy is one of love and the joy of life's simple moments. She taught those around her the value of family, the beauty of art, and the importance of kindness. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
