Connie L. Gahman-Meyers, 46, of Wysox, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. She was born on September 26, 1961 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Connie was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and soon to be grandmother who will be greatly missed. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and would always be willing to help others in need. She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Meyers; her father George E. Gahman; children: Eric, Nicholas, Felicia and Michael; brother and sister-in-law: Don E. and Marilyn Gahman; nieces and nephews: Darryl (Amy) Gahman and their daughter Aubrey; Eric Brent Gahman; Julie (Joe) Tuohey; several aunts, uncles, cousins and her dogs "Duke" and "Winsor" Connie was predeceased by her mother Miriam (Alderfer) Gahman in January 1991 and her step mother Ruth C. Gahman May 17, 2006. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services and celebration of Connie's life on Friday, June 6th at 12 noon at the Orwell Bible Church with Pastor Richard Vieldhouse and Pastor Gerald Clemmer, officiating. A period of visitation will be held at the church from 11 am until the time of the service. A celebration of her life will also be held on Saturday, June 7th at 2 pm at the Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, 713 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, Pa with Pastor Firman Gingerich, Pastor Mary Nitzsche and Pastor Gerald Clemmer, officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. A period of visitation will be held at the Blooming Glen Mennonite Church on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
