Connie Sue Chandler

When someone you love becomes a memory…the memory becomes a treasure. Connie Sue Chandler, 46, of Circle Drive, Vestal, NY and formerly of E. Smithfield, Pa and Candor, NY entered new life on Monday, March 14, 2011 following a brief period of declining health. Connie was born on February 5, 1965 in Waverly, NY a daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Burbank) Hanyen. She was a 1983 graduate of SRU High School. Connie was a former employee of HADCO in Owego and a volunteer at the Vestal Senior Center. She is survived by her son Tyler Chandler of Waverly; sister and brother-in-law Donna and George Smith of Towanda, Pa; brother John Hanyen of Waverly, NY; her companion Charles "Buzzy" Williams; his parents Charles and Margaret Williams all of Vestal, NY; Connie's nieces and nephews Tina, Stacey, Stephen and Brenda. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Friday, March 18th at 11 am at the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pa.
