It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Dave Haskins on June 22, 2024 at the age of 67.

Born on July 21,1956, Dave graced the world with his unique charm and presence that has left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Dave was predeceased by his parents Sally (Sickler) Haskins and Edwin “Dave” Haskins. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Barb (Thomas) Haskins, his children Jenifer (Brian) Gibson, Beth Haskins, Davey (Marissa) Haskins, Molly (Matthew) Biggs, and Jesse (Walter) Davidson. Affectionately known as G Pa, he is also survived by his grandchildren; Piper, Livia, Bob, Caroline, John, Elizabeth, Liam, and newest addition Theo. His siblings Laurie (Doug) Baker, John (Barb) Haskins, Amy (Kirk) Landfried, Ann (Dave) Benjamin as well as several beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and his faithful companion, Oakley.

Dave was passionate about many things but nothing more so than farming, fishing, and telling stories- most of which were true. His wisdom and simple life philosophy is something that he shared with everyone he ever met and for which he never met a stranger. As a husband, father, G Pa, brother, uncle, and friend; Dave was all about making memories. From camping trips, horse and buggy rides, creating an annual holiday tradition, Dave enriched our lives in countless ways.

Dave was a selfless man, leaving behind a legacy of the importance of family and doing for others. His legacy will live on through his family and friends anytime a story is shared about him.
