David L. Preshur, Sr.

David L. Preshur, Sr. 79, of W. River Rd., Nichols passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Frances (Welch) Preshur; children: Linda Keene, David Preshur, Jr; Michael Preshur and Christine Miller; grandchildren: Stacy, Kelly-Holly, Lauren, Amanda-Catherine, Victoria, Zechariah, Brett, Elijah, Geoffrey and Ryan; six great grandchildren. David was born on November 10, 1930 in Sayre, Pa a son of the late Harrison L. and Ruth (Dunham) Preshur. He was a graduate of Nichols High School class of 1948. For 35 years, David owned and operated Preshur Insurance in Nichols. He was a member of the Westbook Masonic Lodge 333 F served as an elder at the Nichols Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Nichols Ro-ki Club, SAR and Sons of Union Veterans. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, July 10 at 10 am at the Nichols Cemetery.
