It was a warm summers day, on July 9, 1976, Dawn married David A. Darling, and together they shared 45 years of marriage. Dawn was filled with the strength and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and possessed a tender heart which she used to serve others. Dawn was an active member of the A.U.M.C. and served other churches as pianist and choir director. As a Christian, she treasured the friendship with others when attending area Christian Women's groups. Dawn and David shared their love and guided many as Marriage Enrichment counselors. Dawn loved her family, she was devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking and was a talented homemaker. She loved to spoil her family during the holidays with her famous Kolache cookies. Dawn enjoyed feeding all types of birds, researching what drew them to the feeders.
