Antisdel, 89, of Nichols passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 and is now reunited with our Dad, Louis W. Antisdel. Delores was born on September 4, 1932 in Johnson City, New York a daughter of the late Adam F. and Mary E. (Feddock) Smithka. She was a graduate of Johnson City High School class of 1949. Following graduation, she attended secretarial school at Ridley Secretarial School in Binghamton. On July 26, 1958 she married Louis W. Antisdel and together they shared 45 years of marriage until his passing on January 21, 2003. For many years, many will remember Delores as a Commissioner of Elections and a Clerk for the Tioga County Board of Elections. She was a member of St. Patrick and Blessed Trinity Parish; and member of the Nichols Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Delores enjoyed crocheting, playing games on her iPad, crossword puzzles and visiting the Casino. She was loved and cherished by many people including her children and their spouses: Pam and Keith Nemlich, Tim and Diane Antisdel, Cindy and Glenn Petraitis; her special grandchildren: Christopher (Rachel) Nemlich, Megan Nemlich; Tyler and Jason Antisdel; Glenn, Alexa and AJ Petraitis. Her great grandchildren Jayden and Ava Nemlich. Several nieces and nephews among them Paula Smithka. Delores was predeceased by her parents; her husband Louis W. Antisdel; her brother and sister-in-law: Bernard and Jean Smithka; and her faithful canine companion Tinkerbell. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, May 26th from 6 to 8 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 27th at 11 am at the funeral chapel. Delores will be laid to rest next to her devoted husband Louis in the Riverside Cemetery, Lounsberry.
