Dian Baccman Diane Pastrikos)

DiAn Baccman (Evelyn Diane Pastrikos) passed away peacefully on September 14, 2018, following a long illness. DiAn was born on July 8, 1938, and grew up in Endicott, NY, where she attended and graduated from Union Endicott High School, Class of 1956, and later Cosmetology School. A licensed beautician and entrepreneur, DiAn owned and operated several beauty salons, and later an import shop, and then a restaurant. After living in Florida for many years, DiAn returned to Upstate NY to reside in Waverly to be closer to family. DiAn loved animals, especially cats, and always had dishes of food set out for all the neighborhood strays on her porch. DiAn was predeceased by her parents, Michael Pastrikos and Anna (George) Ingram, her siblings, Steve Capousis, George Pastrikos, and Stacia McGruder, and her son, Errik Seelman. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Scott) MacDonald, her grandsons, Ian MacDonald and Alex (Sydney) MacDonald, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a period of informal visitation and remembrance on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018, from 2-4 pm at Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main Street, Nichols, NY, 13812. DiAn always had a fresh pot of coffee brewing and a snack to be had, so please stop by and share a cup of coffee and your stories with us.
