Diane Marie Bikowicz

A mother holds her child's hand for a little while and their hearts forever….our hearts were saddened on Friday, May 8th , 2009 with the sudden passing of our Mom, grandma, daughter, niece and friend Diane Marie Bikowicz, 48 of Smithboro, NY. Diane was born on June 26, 1960 in Port Richie, Florida a daughter of Frederick Potter and the late Frances Beck Potter. A devoted mom and grandma Diane treasured the time spent with her family and her canine companion "Ozzy". Diane owned and operated "Fastidous Cleaning" service. In addition to her father and step mother Frederick and Ruth Ellen Potter of Florida; Diane is survived by her children: James M. (Lauri L. Gardner) Rhodes of Smithboro; Katherine T. (Justin J. Levandoski)Rhodes of Barton; Melissa A. Bikowicz of Idaho; Steven V. Bikowicz of Barton; her brother Frederick J. Potter, Jr. half brother John Michaels both of Florida; sister Phyllis Henderson of Florida; Kenneth Rhodes the father of James and Katherine; nieces: Marcia Michael, Tanya Potter and April Puma; a granddaughter Jessica Lynn Rhodes and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her second grandbaby Serenity Marie in September. Diane was predeceased by her mother Frances Beck Potter on July 28, 1997; a brother Brian Michael; Victor Bikowicz of father of Steven and Melissa. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, May 15th from 1 to 3 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols.
