Donald R. Chamberlain

Donald R. Chamberlain, 69, of Milltown, Pa passed away on January 14, 2008 at the Ashton Health Care Facility. He was born on January 6, 1939 in Susquehanna, Pa the next to the youngest of 12 children to James W. and Sara (Carr) Chamberlain. A longtime resident of Milltown, he was a graduate of Sayre High School class of 1958. Following graduation he continued his education at Kingston Vocational School. For many years Don was employed at Ingersoll Rand in Athens, he retired following 30 years of service. Don was a member of the Waverly Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Don is survived by his wife Susan Faye Chamberlain of Owego NY, daughters Dawn (Michael) Rockwell of Barton NY, Sheryl Wright of Richford NY, Son Gregory (Karel) Chamberlain of Winsted CT, his brothers James Chamberlain of Binghamton, NY; Lawrence Chamberlain of Waverly, NY; Sisters Elise Savinsky of Susquehanna, Pa; Rose Perry of Tioga, Pa; Eight Grandchildren, and a great grandson, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Don was predeceased by his parents, a son Richard Leon Chamberlain, Brothers: George, Clarence, Leon, Edward, Thomas Chamberlain; Sisters Sarah Reynolds and Sandra Chamberlain. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 19th at 2 pm at the Waverly Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 22 Circle Drive, Waverly, NY 14892.
