Memories are stitched with love…..Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend Doris M. Dolinich, 92, of Sayre, Pa passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Athens Health and Rehab Center. Doris was born on December 18, 1922 in Litchfield, Pa a daughter of the late Hugh and Myrtle (Gillette) Rogers. She attended school in Litchfield until the 8th grade and was a graduate of Athens High School Class of 1941. On April 5, 1946, in Athens, Pa she married John Dolinich, together they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing on July 29, 2004. Doris was a faithful and dedicated member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church. She treasured her church family, enjoyed quilting although her greatest pleasure was being surrounded by her family. Doris will be greatly missed by her children: Kenton and his wife Louise Dolinich of Rhode Island; Rodney and his wife Judy Dolinich of Phoenix, AZ; Lawrence Dolinich of Litchfield, Pa; Bernard and his wife Roxanne Dolinich of Litchfield, Pa; Tammie and her husband Bud Rosh of Sayre, Pa; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Myrtle Rogers; her husband John; brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Ethel Rogers; sister and brother-in-law: Joyce and Gene Hanna; and a granddaughter Tina Marie Dolinich. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, April 18th from 11 - 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and celebration of Doris' life will follow at 1 pm. Interment will follow at the Nichols Cemetery.
