Duane Theodore Harding

When someone you love becomes a memory....the memory becomes a treasure ~ Duane Theodore Harding, 79, of Windham, Pa passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa following a period of declining health. Duane was born on October 12, 1938 in Sayre, Pa a son of the late Theodore E. and Euleta (Brown) Harding. Duane was a member of the Windham Community Church where he served as Deacon. For many years, Duane operated a family farm in Windham. He enjoyed woodworking, attending local tractor pulls and reading the Farmers Friend. Duane will be missed by his children: Jeffrey (Sue) Harding of Nichols; Wanda Harding (Ignatius) Allen of Smithboro; Lisa (Michael) Horton of Barton; Tina (Ray) Frisbie of Little Meadows, Pa; his sisters: Sharon E. Brown and Margaret "Peggy" Decker; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; several step children; step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Duane was predeceased by his parents; his wife Ethel J. Harding on January 9, 2013 and a brother Donald Harding. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Tuesday, July 17th from 11 to 12 pm at the Windham Community Church, 38890 Route 187, Rome, Pa. A funeral service and celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Jeff Bisher, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Valley Home Cemetery, Windham.
