Eileen M. Boyer

of Nichols

Eileen M. Boyer, a beacon of love, laughter and kindness, passed away peacefully at her home in Nichols, NY, on December 9, 2023, at the age of 75. Born on February 4, 1948, in Bethlehem, PA, Eileen lived a life characterized by her devotion to family, her passion for creativity, and her unwavering sense of compassion.

Eileen was a proud graduate of Liberty High School and later furthered her education by earning an associate degree in accounting from Lackawanna Community College. Her intellectual curiosity and work ethic led her to a fulfilling career as an accountant for Modern Marketing Concepts in Kirkwood.

A matriarch in the truest sense, Eileen's greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her loving children Michele Fairbanks, Chuck Boyer, Christopher Boyer, Jonathan Boyer, Patrick Boyer, Aloysius Boyer, Bernadette McLean, Annie Thompson, Stephanie Stevens, Susan Boyer, Andrew Boyer, and Anthony Boyer. She was a guiding star in the lives of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and life lessons. Eileen's nurturing spirit extended to her sister, Carol Geary, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom felt the warmth of her embrace.

Eileen's life was marked by her resilience and strength, as she faced the loss of her children Christine Boyer, Mary Boyer, and Joseph F. Boyer, her granddaughter Sabrina Robinson, and Charles F. Boyer, the father of her children. Her ability to continue forward with grace and love was an inspiration to all who knew her.

A woman of many talents, Eileen's interests included knitting and crocheting, arts through which she expressed her love and creativity. Her handcrafted items were more than mere gifts; they were tangible expressions of her thoughtfulness, especially cherished by family members during the holidays.

Those who knew Eileen would describe her as loving, kind, and thoughtful—a woman whose actions always spoke louder than words. Her laughter and joyful character will be missed by so many. She embodied the essence of these virtues daily, impacting the lives of those around her in profound ways. As Mahatma Gandhi once said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Eileen lived this truth, constantly putting the needs of her family and friends above her own.

Eileen's presence was a gift to the world, and her absence will be felt deeply by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy will continue to live on through the love she fostered in her family and the countless lives she touched with her generosity and spirit. Eileen’s memory will be dearly missed, but the light she shone will never fade.
