When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that Jesus came and called my name and took me by the hand….Ellen P. Russell, 63, of Owego passed away peacefully on Monday morning, June 26, 2017. Ellen is survived by her mother Patricia Russell; her children: Mary (Andrew) Wing; Jesse DeMase; her granddaughter Harper; her siblings: Pamela Russell, Nancy Walter, Margaret Russell, Jodee Russell and Robert Russell; her beautiful life-long friends Mary and Peter Schmitt; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Ellen was predeceased by her father Robert E. Russell. Until we meet again Mom, may you find comfort in the arms of the angels. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, June 29th from 5 to 6 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service and celebration of Ellen's life will follow at 6 pm.
