Ethel J. Harding

Ethel J. Harding, 76, of Windham Twp., passed away on Wednesday morning, January 9, 2013 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. Ethel was born on August 15, 1936 in Tioga Center, NY a daughter of the late Harry Forsythe and Elizabeth Thorton. She was a graduate of Rome High School and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ethel was a member of the Windham Center Community Church, enjoyed crocheting, knitting and being with her family. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Duane T. Harding, her sons: David (Donna) Taylor of Harrisburg, Pa; Dale (Emma Jean) Taylor of Milltown, Dean Taylor of North Carolina, Alan (Wendy) Taylor of Harrisburg; step children: Lisa (Michael) Horton of Barton, Wanda (Ignagiuf) Allen of Smithboro, Tina (Ray) Frisbie of Little Meadows, Jeffrey (Sue) Harding of Nichols; her sister Ruth (Gordon) Donaldson of Wellsburg, NY; sister-in-law: Sharon Brown, Peggy (Raymond) Decker; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Ethel was predeceased by her infant daughter, daughter in law Renee Taylor; brother-in-law Orlando Brown. Funeral services and a celebration of Ethel's life will be held on Monday, January 14th at 12pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. The family will receive their friends on Monday from 11 am until the time of the service at noon.
