Evalee Ham

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, part of us went with you, the day God called you home…..Evalee Ham, 91, of Potterville, passed away Thursday evening, August 14, 2014 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of the Towanda Memorial Hospital. Eva was born on June 9, 1923 in New Milford, Pa a daughter of Alfred H. and Rose Pricilla (Barber) Collins. Eva enjoyed quilting, gardening and making crafts. She will be greatly missed by her children: Donna (Jim) Rook of Alabama; Dawn (Paul) Heckman, of Knoxville, TN; Peggy (Jerry) Ebel of Newfield, NY; Kathy (Bruce) Covert of Montour Falls, NY; Virginia (Eric) Thoman, of Rome, PA Marvin (Susan) Goodwin of Binghamton, NY; Don (Maryellen) Goodwin of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; Allen (Wanda McNeal) Goodwin, of Rome, PA Dale (Jamie Gerhart) Ham of Rome, PA; Ronald (Jean) Stanton of Texas. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Eva was predeceased by her husbands Lowell Goodwin and William Ham; her children: Cindy Goodwin, James Goodwin, Sharon Marshall, Linda Lamphere, and Bonnie Campbell; siblings: Milo, Cora, Letha, Viola, Charles and Ella. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on Wednesday, August 20th from 11am to 1pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Funeral services and a celebration of Eva's life will follow at 1pm with Pastor James Donahoo, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Darling Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the interment at the VFW.
