Evelyn L. Case

When someone you love becomes a memory…the memory becomes a treasure~Our loving Mom, Evelyn L. Case, 88, passed away on Sunday morning, December 23, 2007 at the Tioga Nursing Facility. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Gerald Case on May 9, 1987, her siblings William, Merle, Mildred, Dorothy and Elsie. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Beverly Pascavage of Saint Albans, Vermont; Shirley and Stewart Cole of Barton; several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Evelyn was born on October 3, 1919 in Nichols one of six children to Thomas and Lillian (Folk) Brink. She enjoyed playing BINGO and completing word search puzzle books. A time of remembering the special gift Evelyn was to all of us will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 2 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with her pastor Rev. Alice K. Hartman, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Nichols Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
