Fern E. Wiseman, a beacon of kindness and warmth, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at the Ideal Senior Living in Endicott, where she had resided for the last five years. Born on May 9, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, Fern's life was a testament to her faith-filled spirit and friendly demeanor. She was 95 years old.
A proud graduate of Olney High School, Fern dedicated her life to the joys of homemaking, an art she mastered with love and dedication. She was known for her exceptional Christmas cookies, which brought smiles to the faces of family and friends every holiday season. Her culinary skills extended beyond baking, as she enjoyed cooking and shared this passion with those she loved. Fern's home was always filled with the aromas of her delicious creations and the warmth of her gracious hospitality.
Fern was a devout member of the North Hampton Presbyterian Church, where she found great solace and community. She also held membership with the Philadelphia Quartet Club, where her friendly nature was cherished by all. Her involvement in these associations reflected her commitment to fellowship and her deeply rooted faith.
Fern's legacy is carried on by a loving family, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey S. and Barbara Wiseman; her daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Christopher Poli, and Gail Wiseman. Her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life, include Mark Edward Wiseman, Eric Michael (Kari) Wiseman, William "Tyler" (Natalie) Wiseman, Jacqueline Poli, Christopher Poli, and Joshua Poli. She was also blessed with a great-grandson. Fern's nieces, Beth Campagna and Donni Nini, along with their families, remember her fondly. Her life was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Carolyn Kraft; her loving husband, Joseph Henry Wiseman, Jr.; her sisters, Dorothy (Keith) Nissley and Alice (Frank) Redfern; and a niece, Kimberly Wissley.
Abiding with the families wishes there will be no services. Fern will be laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
