Franklyn L. Hutchinson

Franklyn L. Hutchinson, 78, of Binghamton, NY passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Elderwood Healthcare Facility in Waverly. Frank was born on June 13, 1934 in Cadis, PA a son of the late Russell George and Catherine Agnes (O'Connell) Hutchinson. He was a graduate of Vestal High School class of 1954 where he was a mmebr of the track and cross country teams. Following graduation, Frank enlisted into the US Air Force and proudly served his country from 1954-1957. Frank retired in 1993 following 30 years of service as a lineman for Penelec. He continued his love for running until his health declined. He will be greatly missed by his siblings and their families. Frank is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Janice and Richard Jacobs of Warren Center, Pa; Mary and Darrell Pitcher; brother and sister-in-law: R. Jack and Marion Hutchinson; sister-in-law Patricia Hutchinson all of Cadis, Pa; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Frank was predeceased by his parents Russell and Catherine Hutchinson, brothers Gerald and Roy; nephew Robert J. Hutchinson, niece: Catherine Frances Jacobs, Anne Marie, Theresa Marie and Joan Marie Pitcher. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, June 13th at St. Francis Xavier Church in Friendsville, Pa from 10 to 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following calling hours at 11am with Father Casimir Stanis, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will be in the St. Luke's Cemetery, Warren Center, Pa.
