Fred Slater Kelley

Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all… Fred Slater Kelley, 71, 1778 Ridge Road, Lockwood, New York passed away unexpectedly at his home. Fred was born on August 30, 1947 in Waverly, NY a son of the late Robert S. and Florence S. (Baxter) Kelley. He was a graduate of Tioga Central High School Class of 1965 and proudly served his country with the US Air Force. An avid hunter, Fred was anticipating the first day of hunting with his brother and nephews. Fred will be greatly missed by his siblings: Robert (Kathy) Kelley of Corning, NY; Steven (Julie) Kelley of Lockwood, Gary Kelley of Corning, NY; Sarah (Mike) Thomas of Berkshire, NY; Donna (Jon) Mosher of Danby, NY; numerous nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Fred was predeceased by his parents and a sister Nancy Kelley. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 10 am at the Riverside Cemetery, Lounsberry.
