Gary W. Streck

A heart of gold stopped beating, two willing hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.....Gary W. Streck, 68, of Seven Hills Drive, Rome, Pa passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at his home. Gary was born on June 4, 1946 in Beechcreek, Pa a son of the late Nona M. (Yaggi) and Clarence Streck, Sr. A professional Lumber Jack, Gary worked locally and in Virginia. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gary will be greatly missed by his children: Jeffrey Streck of Rome, Pa; Greg Streck of Owego; Michelle Baker of Pageland, SC. His siblings: Charlie Streck of Vista, California; Harry (Connie) Streck of Barton, NY; Richard Streck of Covington, Va; Ann Streck of Canton, Pa; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Gary was predeceased by his parents; brothers Pete and Gene and a sister Ida. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing Gary's memory on Saturday, July 19th from 10-12 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols.
