Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again…. Genevieve G. Romeo, 93, of Apalachin passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning, April 11, 2022 at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home. Genevieve was born on April 25, 1928 in Apalachin, NY one of thirteen children of James and Daisy (Williams) Romeo. She was a retired employee of IBM- Owego. Jenny was a life long member of the Apalachin United Methodist Church where she actively participated in the church choir and served as a greeter. She enjoyed the challenge of completing puzzles, word searches and loved to yell out BINGO when playing. Aunt Jenny will be greatly missed by her brother Robert Romeo; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents; her siblings: Eleanor, Beatrice, James Jr., Kathryn, Helena, Vivian, Francis, Charles, Mary, Louis, Gladys. Abiding with her wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin.
