Glenn C. Hunsinger, Sr.

Those we hold most dear never truly leave us…they live on in the kindnesses they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives. Glenn C. Hunsinger, Sr., 90, of N. Lehigh Ave., Sayre, Pa and currently residing at the Memorial Hospital Personal Care Home, Towanda passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2008. Glenn was born on September 21, 1918 in Litchfield, Pa a son of the late Norman and Lulu (Strope) Hunsinger. For many years, Glenn assisted in the daily operations of the Carl Wilson Farm in Warren Center. In addition he also was employed in the maintenance department at Ryone. He had a great love for animals, enjoyed farming, spending time boating and visiting with family and friends. Glenn is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Glenn C. Jr. and Cheryl Hunsinger; Duane H. and Stacey Hunsinger all of Sayre, Pa; the mother of his children and friend Laura Sharp of Sayre; sister Marian Anspach of LaPorte, Pa; Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Glenn was predeceased by his brother Kenneth W. Hunsinger, sisters Virginia God and Geraldine Babcock. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services and celebration of Glenn's life on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 1pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with Pastor James Donahoo, of the Sayre Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Bradford County Memorial Park. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral chapel. Following visitation all are invited to share memories at a luncheon to be held at the Nichols Masonic Lodge.
