Harriette A. Wheaton

Harriette A. Wheaton, 94, a Aquebogue, NY resident and formerly of Centerport, NY passed away on Nov. 22, 2015, at home. Harriette was born December 25, 1920, in Nichols, New York a daughter of the late Harry and Grace Burns. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who treasured the time spent with her family. Harriette enjoyed traveling and was a homemaker. Harriette was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Gordon A. Wheaton in 2005, her sister, Marion B. Simon and her great-grandson, Ryan. She will be greatly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law: Mark G. and Darla Wheaton of North Chili, N.Y. and Scott and Sherry Wheaton of Aquebogue; her grandchildren, Kirsten (Kevin) Black, John (Melissa) Scelsi, Jeremy (Randylyn) Wheaton and Benjamin (Jennifer) Wheaton; and her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Lauren, Tyler, Rhys and Julianna. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, December 19th at 10:30 am at the Nichols Cemetery.
