Helen L. Roberts, 86, of Towanda, and formerly a longtime resident of Warren Center passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024. Born on July 3, 1938, in Auburn Township, PA, Helen was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mearl (Brotzman) Brink.

She will be dearly missed by her children Michael (Sherrie) Roberts, David Roberts, Katherine (Clifford) Clinton, Tom Roberts, Mary (Bobby) Shaffer, her beloved 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen is also survived by her siblings, Fay (Patricia) Brink, Janice (Warren) Roberts, and Joyce (Robert) Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Helen was welcomed into her heavenly home by her husband Joseph Carl Roberts, who she shared 46 years of marriage with, her son Joseph “Joey” Roberts Jr., and daughter Amy Roberts.

Helen's early career blossomed in the kitchen, where she served as a waitress at the Red Rooster in Wysox. With a smile that could light up a room, she made every patron feel like family. Her culinary skills were further showcased as she cooked at various restaurants, leaving a legacy of satisfied customers and cherished recipes.

Helen had a passion for crafting, leading her to open “Helen’s Craft Shop”, in Clifford, PA, she also sold Tupperware for over 20 years. Her hands were rarely still, as she was often found crocheting beautiful pieces that were as much a part of her as her kind-hearted nature. These handcrafted treasures became cherished gifts for friends and family, tangible expressions of her love and talent.

An avid camper, Helen spent many happy days at Oneida Lake and Slumber Valley, surrounded by nature's serenity and the company of her family.

Above all, Helen cherished her family. Her love for them was immeasurable, and she expressed it in countless ways, from home-cooked meals to handmade gifts, from shared laughter to words of encouragement. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the glue that held them together through life's ups and downs.

Loving, friendly, and creative are the words that best describe Helen. She approached life with a heart full of love and hands eager to create and serve. Her friendly demeanor made her a friend to many, and her creativity was a wellspring that never seemed to run dry. Helen's legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and artistry—a life lived fully and shared generously.
