A heart of gold stopped beating, working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best…..our loving Dad, Brother and Grandpa Jack Lee House, 81, of Morris, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday evening, February 16, 2018 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law. A life long resident of Morris, Jack was born on April 19, 1936 a son of Melvin and Naomi ( Ellison) House. He was a graduate of the Liberty High School and for over fifty years, Jack owned and operated the Elderberry Lumber Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping throughout Tioga County Pennsylvania. Jack is survived by his children: Terry (Della) House, Debra McMullen (life long partner Dean Fuller), Lonnie (Sarah) House, John (Tracy) House. His siblings: Elaine (Lyle) Brion, Arlene (Don) Deppen, Lynn (Mick) Warso and Sandra (John)Knopp. His special grandchildren: Larry (Kiera) McMullen, Jeremy House, Laura (Charlie) House, Cierra House, Ryan House, Dylan House, Jade House and Nathan House; great grandchildren: Victoria McMullen, Jake McMullen, Ryan McMullen, Ayden House, Troy House, and Lauren House. Many nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Jack was predeceased by his parents, his wife Evelyn House; his siblings Raymond House and Joyce Broughton (Fred) Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Tuesday evening, February 20th from 6 to 8 pm at the Morris United Methodist Church, 1990 Route 287, Morris, Pa. A funeral service and celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at 10 am at the Morris United Methodist Church. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
