Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all..... Jacqueline A. Manzer, 78, of Warren Center, Pa passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning, July 25, 2018 at her home. Jackie was born on November 23, 1939 in Johnson City, NY a daughter of the late Ivan Barrows and Doris (Smith) Cox. She was a graduate of Johnson City High School and for a number of years owned and operated "The Liberated Woman" a hair salon in Johnson City, NY. On November 1st 1958, she married Donald L. Manzer in Johnson City and in 1975 they moved with their sons to Warren Center, PA. Jackie was considered a "professional shopper" by her family. She enjoyed watching her son Duane when he participated in stock car racing and was an avid collector of pig memorabilia. Jackie will be greatly missed by her husband Donald L. Manzer; her son Duane Manzer and Tonya Steele of Sayre; great grandchildren: Natalie and Cooper Blagg; a sister Suzanne Bell of Maryland; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Jackie was welcomed to her heavenly home by her son Jeffrey D. Manzer, who passed away on May 2, 2018. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, July 28th from 10 to 12 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service and celebration of her life will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Larry D. Jennings of the Warren Center Baptist Church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Warren Center Cemetery.
