Jane Marie Robertson

Jane Marie Robertson of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 93. She was born July 10, 1924 in Lounsberry, NY the daughter of the late Jasper Dunham Robertson and the late Marie Zorn Robertson. She graduated Nichols High School as the Salutatorian at the age of 16. She attended Wyoming Seminary School and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in music from the Westminster Choir College in the class of 1952. She worked at several churches throughout her career as an organist and a music teacher. Her family was her claim to fame. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by: Four Children: Shelley Granger of Port Jervis, NY; Jeffrey Granger and his wife Delores of Honesdale, PA; Karen Wilkerson of Port Jervis, NY and Stacey Granger of Port Jervis, NY Her Grandchildren: Teresa Mackin, Raymond Gadson, Cyrene Manegold, Stacia Conklin, Joseph Granger, Stephen Conklin, Alicia Wilkerson, Julia Granger and Annie Granger. Great Grandchildren: Miranda, Dakota, Laylah, Faith, William, Renee, Nevaeh and Carmella. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Stuart Robertson. Family and friends are invited to attend at the DREW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 49-51 SUSSEX ST., Port Jervis on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Drew United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Zorn officiating.
