Jean L. Sampson

Together on life's journey, we have traveled, sharing all the joys of life keeping each other company. Sharing lots of happy times, and sometime sharing tears, always leaning on each other, together through the years ~ our hearts were broken on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 with the sudden passing of our sister and aunt, Jean Louise Sampson, 67, of Windham Twp., Rome, PA. Jean was born on July 11, 1949 one of four daughters to Donald and Alice (Stevens) Sampson. She was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School and for many years was employed as a secretary by the Coca-Cola Company and McCormack Spice Company. Jean treasured the time spent with her sisters, she always looked forward to Wednesday's lunches out and the "sister trips" they would take together. An avid photographer, Jean enjoyed driving over the country roads photographing churches and the countryside. Jean will be missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth and Dick Franklin of Homer, NY; Lois and Larry Brown; Linda Crawford all of Rome, Pa. Several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Jean was welcomed into heaven by her parents Donald and Alice Sampson and her brother-in-law: Gene Crawford. Abiding with the families wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest, with her parents in the Rome Cemetery.
