Jennie A. (Burger) Jones Burgess, 72, of Glen Road, Berkshire, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Diana (Fredenburg) Jones. Jennie was born on February 6, 1940 in Owego, NY a daughter of the late John E. and Beatrice (Happy) Burger. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, dining out and being surrounded by her family. Jennie was predeceased by her husbands, Wendell E. Jones in 2001; and William E. Burgess in 2011. She will be greatly missed by her children: Michael (Diana) Jones, Carol (Frank "Joe") Seaman; John (Laura) Jones; grandchildren: Frederick (Jennifer) Hills; David Kallin; Diane (George) Coorthey; Betty (Brian) Hartman; Jennifer Seaman; William Seaman; Krystal Kinney; Kristin (Matt) Cortes; Tiffany Jones; Timothy (Jodie) Lynch; great grandchildren: Kasi, Abigail, Joshua, Annalise, Lindsey, Aidan, Shyann, Bradley Jr., Julie, Wyatt, Serinna, Hannah. Her siblings: a brother Elwood "Butch" Burger; sisters: Lodusca Marie Walcott; Florence Lizzle Carnike, Ella Mae Spencer; Geraldine Helen Lynch; Martha Lee Berry; Jean Louise Bennett, Darlene Irene Thorn. Several nieces, nephews and numerous friends also survive. She was predeceased by her husbands Wendell E. Jones, William E. Burgess; her parents, brothers Clarence, John, sister Claire Roseltha Burger. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on Thursday, April 19th from 10 to 11 am at the West Newark Congregational Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 am.
