Joan M. Kuenzli

Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all….Joan M. Kuenzli, 84, of Warren Center, Pa was reunited with her husband Earl on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018. Joan was born on March 20, 1934 in Warren Center, PA a daughter of Lloyd and Ava (Newman) Pitcher. On January 16, 1954, Joan married Earl Kuenzli and together they shared 62 years of marriage until his passing on December 1, 2015. Joan and Earl were devoted members of the Warren Center Baptist Church. For many years, Joan and Earl traveled on mission trips to Russia and Siberia to aid in building churches. Always up for a visit, Joan enjoyed visits from her friends and neighbors in her community. Joan will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law: Ranon Wilks of Utah; her grandsons: Jason (Errin) Wilks; Matt (Kim) Wilks all of Warren Center, Pa; three great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Rodney and Margaret Pitcher of Warren Center, Pa; Darrell and Mary Pitcher of Cadis, Pa; a brother-in-law: Bud Stephens of Apalachin; Sister-in-law: Una Pitcher of West Virginia; Several nieces, nephews and among them a special niece and caregiver Susie Logan. Joan was predeceased by her husband Earl R. Kuenzli; a son Ralph Wilks; brother Ralph Pitcher; sister Linda (Jack) Duffy; and sister Joy Stephens. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 10 to 11:30 at the Warren Center Baptist Church. A funeral service and celebration of her life will follow at 11:30 with her pastor, Rev. Larry D. Jennings, officiating. Interment and prayer of committal will follow in the Warren Center Cemetery.
