John H. Kern

John H. Kern, 66, of Wysox, Pa passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital following a brief period of declining health. John was born on January 22, 1955 in Cortland, NY a son of Marcus Randall and Anna Wesley. John had a caring heart and lovingly served as a Home Health Aid. He enjoyed fishing, attending races, scouting out flea markets and garage sales with his good friend Rich Austin. John will be greatly missed by his companion Jennifer Adams; his son John Kern II, step daughter Lily Moore; a brother Harry Goodsell, sisters: Beverly Price, Amy Moore and Frances Cobenais. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 2 pm at the Rome Presbyterian Church with Pastor Karen Ballard, officiating.
