Judith Ann Ball, 68, of South Main St., Nichols, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Windham the daughter of Evelyn (Schafenberg) Ryan Huddle and the late Alson Ryan. Judy attended school in Windham Center and was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School Class of 1957. On December 26, 1959 in Windham Center, Pa she married Emory R. Ball and together they owned and operated the family farm in Nichols. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who treasured the time spent with her family. In addition to her mother Evelyn Huddle of Elderwood Care Facility in Waverly; Judy is survived by her husband of 48 years Emory R. Ball; her children: Robert Ball of Nichols; Rebecca Ball of Endicott, Lois Ball of N. Orwell, Martha Struble of Litchfield; Mary Ball of Endicott; Timothy (Alexis) Ball of Conklin; Benjamin Ball of Nichols; her siblings: Jean (Don) Brown of Windham; Thomas Ryan of Windham; William (Mary) Ryan of Windham; her special grandchildren: Amber and Amanda Struble; Chantilli and Tyler Ball; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Ralph (Sandy) Ball of Lawrenceville, Ga; Harold Ball of Nichols; two aunts, an uncle, several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. She was predeceased by her step-father Donald Huddle, father Alson A. Ryan, son-in-law: Terry Struble and a granddaughter Crysta Ball. Funeral services and celebration of life of Judy's life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 2 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with her pastor Rev. George Jatko, of the South Warren Church, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Nichols Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Thursday evening, May 29th from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral chapel.
