Julie, a kind and gentle soul, now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior. She leaves an empty void in a large family that loved her deeply and will always remember her. Julie K. Bryden, 38, of Owego, NY passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Julie is survived by her parents: Margaret (Peg) and Pastor Gary Bryden of Rome, Pa; Peter J. Haahr of Owego; her husband Levi Seeldraeyers of Ghent Belgium; siblings: Terri and Tim Bowell of Willow Springs, NC; Eric and Jill Bryden of Towanda, PA; Scott and Kim Bryden of Bossier City, LA; Karen and Pastor Jason Laudermilch of Herrickville, PA; Brian Bryden and Sarah Blair of Owego, NY; Andrew Bryden of Grantham, PA; Peter M. Haahr of Endicott, NY; Nicole E. Haahr of Holden, MA; Melissa A. and Patrick M. Haahr of Owego, NY; paternal grandmother: Sophie Haahr of N. Syracuse, NY; nieces and nephews: Bryann, Ciera, Porcelina, Darcy, Brittany, Kyri, Kemuel, Blessing, Zion, Faith, Nehemiah; several aunts, uncles, cousins also survive. Julie was born on January 28, 1971 in Binghamton, NY. She was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School class of 1989. During her school years, Julie actively participated in SCAMPS gymnastics in Owego and received a medal in state competitions. Following graduation, Julie attended Penn State University where she received her degree in Architectural Design and a Bachelor of Architecture. She later transferred to Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven, Belgium and received her undergraduate and Master's degree in Philosophy. Julie, who had a quick and lively wit, loved to spend time outdoors, enjoyed drawing and being with her family. Funeral services for Julie will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols with her brother-in-law, Pastor Jason Laudermilch, officiating. Interment will be held at the families convenience. A period of visitation and time for sharing memories will be held on Friday from 5 pm until the time of the service.
