Julie Marie Lounsbury

Julie Marie Hoh Lounsbury, 56, of Barton, NY, passed away after an extended illness on August 21, 2012 at home with her family. Her courage and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her. Born in Waverly, Iowa on February 8, 1956, Julie is the daughter of Janice Hoh (Wisconsin) and David Hoh (Texas). She graduated from high school and worked at a hospital in Florida doing medical billing. While in Florida, she met her husband, Daniel, whom she married on December 30, 1993. They moved to New York in 2006 to be nearer to their families. Julie was a shining example of love and commitment to her family, choosing to spend her time at home raising their three children, Nathaniel, Danielle, and Colton. She enjoyed reading, walking, participating in her children's activities, and also worked part-time at Allstate Insurance Agency in Owego. Julie is survived by five siblings: Nancy (Chuck) Forseth, WI; Elizabeth (Lester) Grossman, IL; Lindsey (Gloria) Hoh, TX; Ann Hoh, TX; David (Christine) Hoh, NJ; and 36 nieces and nephews.
