No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why….Kelsey Lynn Smith, 24, of Nichols passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her parents; her mother and step father Kathleen and Charles Chambers of Nichols; Warren Smith and fianc Robyn Judge of Virginia Beach, Va; her pride and joys, daughters Madelynn Marie age 2, and Kallie Mae age, 2 mos; Her identical twin sister Sarah Smith and her fianc Daryl Labour and their son Carson Michael of Nichols; sister Kyla and Philip Baker and soon to be newest nephew of Nichols ; sister Cassie Chambers a student at Niagara University; Kelsey's companion and fianc Chris Woodard of Athens, PA; grandparents: Helen and Warren Smith of Wilawanna, Pa; Rita and Jim Youngs of Owego, NY; aunts and uncles Susan (Jim) Douglas of Candor; Kevin Robinson of NJ; Colin (Rhonda) Robinson, of NC; Karen Smith of Waverly; and numerous cousins also survive. Kelsey was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Elizabeth and Robert Robinson. Kelsey came into our lives on May 19, 1987 and touched the hearts of those that she knew. Her smile and caring ways will be greatly missed. Kelsey enjoyed fishing, taking long walks, playing the piano although her greatest joy was playing with Maddie. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, March 30th from 12noon until 2pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Funeral services and a celebration of Kelsey's life will follow at 2pm with Pastor Donna Martin, officiating.
